Denver wild hardcore punk rockers VICTIM CULTURE premiere

1 min read

Denver/Fort Collins, Colorado based hardcore three piece VICTIM CULTURE have teamed up with For The Love Of Punk Records to give you their new 8 track EP. The band released a new video in support of the record in late march and now we’re pleased to give you the first listen of the entire recording!

The self-titled offering is focused on mental illness and the aftermath of untreated people. The hard hitting sound of this album is influenced by bands such as GALLOWS, COMEBACK KID, and more chaotic hybrids like THE CHARIOT. The overall message from this album is to let the world know that mental illness has become an epidemic and it needs attention. The lyrical content dives into the mind of the song writers and their personal experiences of sleep paralysis, anxiety, and even addiction. Every word is backed with the chemistry of chaotic punk and aggressive hardcore to give each sentence a deeper meaning in hopes it brings the awareness these problems need. “Victim Culture” is all about earnest, yet loud, songwriting. And that sincerity carries this octet of tracks further than you’d expect. See for yourself.
