Uncompromising political hardcore act REBIRTH bid farewell on March 18th (2014-2017)

1 min read

Metallic straight edge hardcore band REBIRTH (Life.Lair.Regret. Records) are having their last show on March 18th at the Phoenix Youth Centre in Footscray. The All Ages, drug and alcohol free event will also feature OUTRIGHT, HOMESICK (NSW) and CRUSH THE DEMONIAC. Featured at the show will be a food donation charity drop-off called Food Of Today which donates it’s food to the Asylum Seeker Resource Centre, Chain Of Snacks which is a food stall that sells vegan food to help raise money for animal rights charities and the Refugee Action Collective will also be having a stall to promote their direct action.

REBIRTH is a socio-political, straight edge band out of Melbourne, Australia. They formed in 2014 and released 1 demo, 2 EPs and one outstanding full length, released last year on Life.Lair.Regret. Records. All of their tracks are streaming below.

They commented:

Rebirth is coming to an end – but not before one final act of defiance. Ferocious, unashamedly political and uncompromising, the straight edge flag bearers have ignited passions all over Australia and around the world.
Joining them for their farewell show are Outright, Homesick (Syd) and Crush The Demoniac.
Always welcoming, inclusive and supportive of charities, the show will be an all ages show, with discounted entry offered for anyone bringing a food donation for Food Of Today. Chain Of Snacks will have a stall providing snacks and treats while Refugee Action Collective will have a stall providing information.
Don’t miss this last chance to be part of the furious protest and force for change that was Rebirth.
