A SECRET REVEALED

German post metallers A SECRET REVEALED release new atmospheric video for their crishing new tune ‘Grieved’!

July 12, 2017
1 min read

“Grieved”, a new crushing song from reformed post metal act A SECRET REVEALED, has just received a stunning music video, and it lays the great foundation for the successor of their debut “The Bleakness”. Recorded with Nikita Kamprad at Ghost City Recordings, the Markus Kemmer and Alex Ilbeck produced video can be watched below.

Regarding its mixture of melodic and aggressive parts as well as its organic and dynamic production this song is pointing the way ahead to the future style of the band. The new vocalist Michael Heim (ex-Necrotted, Guiding Light Demise) completes the sound with his aggressive, diverse voice. Oppressive vocals, blast beats and recurrently emerging atmospheric moments create a melancholic, gloomy sound that feels like a natural progression of „The Bleakness“.

A SECRET REVEALED band

A Secret Revealed is a five piece band from Würzburg/Germany and was founded in 2012. The band mixes Post-Metal with influences of Black Metal and Hardcore. After releasing their EP „lay my memories to rest“ in 2012 the band had several line-up changes and played shows with Bands like „Agrypnie“, „Der Weg Einer Freiheit“ and „Ära Krâ“. In 2014 A Secret Revealed recorded their first full length record „The Bleakness“ in collaboration with Nikita Kamprad. The album will be released via Bastardized Recordings at the beginning of 2015. In December 2016 the band found their final line-up.
