To coincide with their anticipated new album “True North”, which arrives in two-and-a-half weeks, BAD RELIGION‘s got something special going on, which has to do with Record Store Day. You can check out a video of bassist Jay Bentley and guitarist Brett Gurewitz talking about their favorite record stores.
According to the Record Store Day website they have “signed 500 copies of the CD and are putting it into select stores around the country. Wanna know where? Check back here on MONDAY, JANUARY 20 and we’ll tell you—then it’s up to you to get out there and find ‘em.” Actually, January 20th is on a Sunday this year.
Record Store Day also launched a constest to win “guest list for life.” All you have to do is enter the contest and “you could win YOUR NAME PLUS A GUEST right at the top of the Bad Religion guest list for EVERY FUTURE BAD RELIGION SHOW, including the upcoming US tour.” Unfortunately this contest is only open for US residents.
