Two weeks after their short US trek including a live set at the Fest, Montpellier indie punk rockers QUITTERS are back with a new music video, a foretaste of their excellent new EP “Singing Like Nobody’s Listening” (coming up this coming January via Red Toad Music), and we’re pleased to give you the first watch above! Check it out and scroll down to watch their previous music video for the song “My Own Worst Enemy“, released just a couple of weeks ago.
This song is about the importance of having a passion and the difficulty of finding a balance between your life and that passion. A passion can help to digest emotions but can interfere with personal and professional life.
After forming back in 2015 and a few initial live dates in France, QUITTERS released their first EP “Move On to Honest Things” in May 2015 on four European labels (Krod Records, Bad Mood Asso, Inhumano and Dingleberry Records). They headed on a tour to Chile, Portugal, Spain, Germany, Czech Republic, Austria, Belgium, and Switzerland, and came back last year with their debut LP called “Good Night Memories” on eight independent European labels including Inhumano, Bad Mood Asso and Dingleberry Records. The band’s new single is brimming with gritty, melody infused punk rock that comes with emotional urgency. “Singing Like Nobody’s Listening” packs in more than enough hooks emotion that it will not wear out anytime soon.
