Indie punk rockers HARKER have revealed details of an extended version of their ‘A Lifetime Apart’ EP. Originally released in November 2015, this compilation-style reissue will feature four additional tracks and is set to be released this coming Friday (24/03/17) through Fixing A Hole records. You can pre-order it here. The expanded collection of songs features the original four tracks on their ‘A Lifetime Apart’ EP together with specially selected material from their other earlier releases including ‘The Great Thieves Escape’, ‘Gasping for Air’ and their debut EP ‘Hours’. To celebrate the news, Harker have shared a music video for ‘Somewhere Better’, one of the bands first ever songs, re-recorded specially for the EP. The video documents their October 2016 tour as they travel through Belgium and Germany playing shows with European punk bands The Deadnotes and Casually Dressed. Watch it below.
Commenting on the reissue of ‘A Lifetime Apart’, Mark Boniface (guitar/vocals) said:
“As we are beginning work on our first full-length, we felt like an EP which compiles our early material would be a great opportunity to introduce people to our band who might not know about or roots. We’re delighted to be able to work together with Fixing A Hole to release this compilation and we want to dedicate it to everyone who has helped us in the past two years”.
