It seems that NUCLEAR MOMS, the heroes of the recent Columbus DIY scene review, have managed to produce a very solid record here. Well written, and musically, very raw, yet somehow smooth sounding. Even though the record may disappoint fans of more complete and thick sound, it’s a real treat for the ears from start to finish. Whe album’s atmosphere and production feels amazing, making the whole record a hell of a soundtrack. From the get go MOM’s riffs are catchy, punchy, post punkish and begging to energise a basement of kids. Great listen, highly recommended!
