HEROES GET REMEMBERED is a new, unique sound on the Polish music scene. It’s extremely hard to pigeonhole their music. The bands climate juggles between American rock, punk rock and post-hardcore, sometimes gently touching slightly lighter areas of music. At the same time they’re consistently forming their own style, which is characterized by incredible energy and melodic compositions.
Uff, a pure marketing sentence you’d say, but there’s a lot of truth to the tale. Since the beginning of their scene activity HEROES GET REMEMBERED has already played many gigs around the country sharing the stage with such bands as BAD RELIGION, PARAMORE, ESCAPE THE FATE, THE BLACKOUT, WE ARE THE OCEAN, GOGOL BORDELLO or DIE TOTEN HOSEN.
Furthermore, they had the opportunity to present themselves to an audience of millions during the Must Be The Music broadcast aired on Polsat television where they won the hearts of both the audience and the jury with their ravishing performance in the semifinal. They’re also the winners of the BORDER BREAKER award at the Jarocin 2010 festival, as the band having the greatest chance of success beyond the borders of their country.
Currently they’re preparing to record their debut album which will most likely appear in 2012.
