Seattle’s PICKWICK have announced the release of their debut album, Can’t Talk Medicine, out March 12, 2013 via Dine Alone Records (Canada).
The band’s soul-tinged single, “Lady Luck” ft. Sharon Van Etten is available for free now at Pickwick’s website.
The 2011 self-release of their Myths 7″ Series, has led to immense local praise – including a spot in KEXP’s Top 10 Records of 2011.
#1 spot on NPR’s “5 Artists You Should Have Known in 2011,” and #2 on Paste Magazine’s “12 Washington bands you should listen to” lists.
The band would spend 2012 making festival appearances at the likes of Sasquatch Fest and SXSW, while selling out a range of local headline slots, including Seattle’s famed Neptune Theatre and Showbox at the Market.
