END reveals upcoming album “The Sin of Human Frailty” & debuts “Gaping Wounds of Earth” video

END, featuring guitarist Will Putney, vocalist Brendan Murphy, guitarist Gregory Thomas, bassist Jay Pepito, and drummer Matt Guglielmo, has announced the release of their anticipated second album, “The Sin of Human Frailty,” scheduled for October 27th through Closed Casket Activities. Pre-order available here.

Fans got a taste of what’s to come as the band unveiled the intense video for their leading single, “Gaping Wounds of Earth.” Catch the video above.

Describing the track, END comments, “‘Gaping Wounds of Earth‘ offers an unsettling dive into the discomfort of one’s own identity, highlighting the perpetual descent of a fractured individual.”

END, which emerged in 2017, quickly gained traction with their “From the Unforgiving Arms of God” EP, especially the standout track “Necessary Death.” They subsequently signed with Closed Casket Activities, further impressing audiences with their 2020 debut album, “Splinters From an Ever-Changing Face.” Their unique sound has been recognized and celebrated by several platforms, with Brooklyn Vegan remarking on their modern metalcore touch, and Kerrang! lauding their debut as a “dense, destructive wrecking ball.”

Returning in 2023, the band reaffirmed their commitment to their distinct sound. “We aimed to create an album that distinctly sounded like END, steering clear from overly leaning into our influences,” notes Putney. The ensuing album is a furious amalgamation of Grind and Metallic Hardcore, infused with hints of industrial pandemonium across its ten tracks. The record also boasts guest vocals from the likes of J.R. Hayes (Pig Destroyer) and Dylan Walker (Full of Hell).

The album, produced and engineered by Putney, showcases artwork by Alex Eckman-Lawn and promises a deepened complexity both in audio and visual elements.

Eager to bring their new music to fans, END will be hitting the road this fall alongside Full of Hell. Check out the complete tour dates and album tracklist below.
