Featuring members of Khann, Republicorpse, Android, Cannabass, and Dzoavits, Orlando based death metal trio HUMAN is a crushing, politically charged, punk as fuck Death Metal that takes no prisoners on its captivating onslaught of political and emotional firepower. Today, we’re giving you an early listen of their debut release “Delicacacies of Extinction“, an explosive, unrelenting and passionate delivery that’s socially conscious and confrontational.
On “Delicacies of Extinction”, guitarist John Farran’s (Dzoavits, Android) guitar playing is razor sharp and these riffs are far from conventional. Bassist/vocalist Eric Montanez (Cannabass/Republicorpse) might have the most naturally brutal voice in extreme music, which is perfectly matched with the lyrical content calling out the realities racism and colonialism across the globe and echoing sentiments brought on by the Black Lives Matter movement as well as freedom for the people of Palestine. The band’s drummer, Josh Dulcie (Khann) is someone to be watched out for, as his performance on this album from start to finish is not only unique but mesmerizing and exciting.
“Delicacies of Extinction” goes up tomorrow 03/05/2021 on Silence is Death Music. You can pre-order the album at silenceisdeath.bandcamp.com.

As heavy as it is hard, Human’s sound is a locomotive of punk-cranked death metal that delivers socially conscious polemics with raw velocity and lethal clarity. It’s a work of concentrated savagery whose bludgeoning knuckles stay bare and bloody from beginning to grisly end. / Orlando Weekly
