Texas blackened post metallers FUNERALBLOOM release new video “Your Beautiful Bones”

February 7, 2017
1 min read

Austin, TX  five-piece gloomy post metal act FUNERALBLOOM blend post rock with black metal in moody, haunting passages on their follow-up to the 2014 release of Petals. The Romance Of Crime & Your Beautiful Bones is a two song EP covering over twenty minutes of music that grips and sways. To be co-released by Broken World Media, Close Quarters Coalition, and Hybrid Records, The Romance Of Crime & Your  Beautiful Bones will be available on 12″ vinyl in three color variants, one exclusive to each label. Preorders are available now through each label and end 2/24/17. The band have recently premiered a new music video for their track “Your Beautiful Bones” and it  covers nearly ten minutes of surreal territory that is sometimes serene and somber, sometimes jarring and anxious. In comparison to the band’s debut Petals, one can immediately feel the band’s evolution in their ability pull listeners’ emotions in challenging ways. FUNERALBLOOM demonstrates their subtle understanding of where they need to go next.
