GODFLESH streaming their classic EP “Messiah” in full; 2015 tours coming up!

January 22, 2015
1 min read

Originally recorded in 1994, and released on GODFLESH mastermind Justin Broadrick‘s Avalanche Recordings, the highly sought-after GODFLESH EP Messiah was once available only via the official GODFLESH website. Containing four lost songs and ambient remixes of those same songs, Messiah is a dark, chilling glimpse inside the mind of one of heavy music’s most revered martyrs. Messiah faultlessly captures the utter strength and forward-thinking vision of GODFLESH.

More info on the record:

* Recorded in 1994, this unreleased EP was mixed and finally issued as the first release through Avalanche Recordings. Released on CDR and digital formats on the 5th of December, 2000. CD limited to 1,000.

* Re-issued by Relapse Records on the 1st of April 2003 with a new cover and expanded inlay. Later issued on double vinyl in white, clear and standard black. All limited to 1,000 copies?

GODFLESH will be performing live at this year’s Soundwave Festival and its Sideshows next month and in March. Also, expect more touring in South Europe in April and North Europe in May. July will bring their Japanese tour, and September will see GODFLESH touring USA. More details and festival announcements soon too.
