Athens, Greece based experimental noise rockers KOOBA TERCU have released a new video in support of their tricky, mind bending record ‘Bakla Horani’, available for streaming below. Be sure to check it out as it really stands as a memorable document on its own and a hopeful harbinger for more quality releases to come.
Johnny Tercu and his crew spend time in a moist, rat & cockroach infested basement playing something loud and heavy. He ventures pointlessly into nothingness with the same sense of no future as most people in Athens these days.
The band lately has taken its ideas to another level through live performances in small or bigger venues and is quickly being established as one of the most exciting bands in the scene attracting audiences from the heavy, psychedelic and experimental crowds. In the last gig it served as an opening bands like Goat, Follakzoid and participated in this year’s Plissken Festival.
In December 2016, they released an ultra-limited cassette tape through the noise rock label Hominid Sounds (UK).
Members of the band have been actively supporting the non-profit label, Spinalonga Records for the past 10 years and have shared the stage with most of heavy rock acts in Greece as well as some notable foreign artists (Mudhoney, Iron Butterfly, Mogwai, Faith no more, Therapy?).
