LANDMVRKS announce “The Darkest Place I’ve Ever Been”, two singles streaming, tour dates revealed

2 mins read

French nu-metalcore band Landmvrks is gearing up to release their fourth studio album, The Darkest Place I’ve Ever Been, on April 25 through Arising Empire. To mark the announcement, the Marseille-based group has unveiled two new singles, “Sulfur” and “Sombre 16.”

The band describes the album as a conceptual journey, stating, “In these tracks, and this new album, we follow a protagonist as he descends deeper and deeper into hell, undergoing both physical and mental transformation.”

In addition to the singles, Landmvrks has shared a video for “Creatures,” directed by Pavel Trebukhin (Amon Amarth, Trivium, Stick to Your Guns) with artistic collaboration from Le Turk. The video complements the track’s weighty themes with cinematic visuals, adding another layer to the album’s storytelling.

Formed in 2014, Landmvrks has consistently blended aggressive metalcore with soaring melodies and introspective lyrics. Their previous releases—Hollow (2016), Fantasy (2018), and Lost in the Waves (2021)—cemented their reputation as one of Europe’s leading metalcore acts, earning them over 680,000 monthly listeners on Spotify.

With The Darkest Place I’ve Ever Been, Landmvrks continues to push boundaries, delivering massive, energetic compositions with grooves influenced by rap culture and a commitment to unrelenting heaviness.

The band’s live presence has taken them across the globe, sharing stages with acts like While She Sleeps, Stray From The Path, and Any Given Day. In March, Landmvrks will embark on a North American tour with Imminence.
