Stoner / garage psych rockers THE MAD DOCTORS have just unveiled their second LP called No Waves, Just Sharks and it’s about time we recognize here on IDIOTEQ. Featured in our recent multi-interview with King Pizza Records artists, the band brings in a specific mixture of doomy surf garage rock that elevates towards psychedelia. Stoner without being stoner rock, sludgy despite not falling under sludge metal tag, this effort travels extensively across its ten songs, and hopefully allows teh DOCTORS to indulge their weird tendencies live on stage. Oh, Dear Majesty King Pizza, ship your roster overseas and play a psych fest in Europe, will you?
