Today, Metalville Records announces September 20th as the international release date for a re-release of Dog Eat Dog’s long-lost studio album Walk With Me. Check out our 2023 interview with the band HERE.

Dog Eat Dog’s Walk With Me, released by Nuclear Blast in 2006, is an impressive testament to the band’s creative power and musical versatility. Although it was only available for a short time, it has left a lasting impression and is one of the hidden gems of rock music.

Dog Eat Dog, known for their innovative blend of rock, punk, and funk, experienced a period of intense creativity in the early 2000s. After several successful albums and tours, the band decided to create an album that would reflect their musical development and experiences of the last few years. Work began on Walk With Me, and the band members spent countless hours in the studio perfecting their musical ideas.

In 2003, they found a new management company, Vibra, and came into contact with former professional skateboarder Claus Grabke. They worked with him on songs such as “M.I.L.F.,” “Hell Yeah,” “Cannonball,” and “Undivided” for their new album. Marta Jandová from Die Happy sings guest vocals on the latter.

The album was recorded with a lot of passion and dedication.

Each song on Walk With Me tells its own story and reflects the band’s personal and collective experiences. The powerful rhythms, catchy melodies, and profound lyrics show Dog Eat Dog at the peak of their creativity.

Walk With Me is packed with energetic tracks that perfectly showcase the band’s unique blend of rock, punk, and funk. Songs like “Undivided” and “Walk With Me” are bursting with dynamics and showcase the band’s musical diversity. Particularly noteworthy are the powerful guitar riffs and the lead singer’s distinctive voice, which give each song a special touch.

The production of the album is first class, with a clear and dynamic sound that perfectly captures the energy and passion of the band. The careful mixing and well-thought-out song structures make Walk With Me a pleasure to listen to, both at high volume and in quiet moments.

Despite the high quality of the album, Walk With Me was only available for a short time. This was due to internal problems at Nuclear Blast and unexpected legal complications, which meant that the album had to be withdrawn from the market after a short time. These unfortunate circumstances meant that many fans were unable to purchase the album, making it a coveted collector’s item.

Walk With Me is an outstanding album that captures the creative essence of Dog Eat Dog at their best. The combination of catchy melodies, powerful rhythms, and a fascinating origin story makes it an essential part of any music collection. Now fans finally have the chance to buy this masterpiece again as a CD digipack and limited-edition orange vinyl – and it’s also available digitally for the first time.

The lineup of the band on Walk With Me was John Connor (vocals), Dave Neabore (bass, vocals, guitar), Brandon Finley (drums), and Sean Kilkenny (guitar, vocals). The album was recorded at Claus Grabke Studios in Gütersloh, Germany and produced by Claus Grabke and Dog Eat Dog.
