Chicago based three-piece LUME is comprised of Michigan transplants who’s past projects include multiple bands most people are unlikely to recognize. After forming in 2014 Lume has toured Canada and the eastern USA extensively, as well as released two previous EPs. Both EPs helped the band perfect their blend of rock, shoegaze, and slowcore that is bound to appeal to fans of CLOAKROOM, HUM and NOTHING. Lumewill be teaming up with Cleveland indie Mayfly Records for their debut LP Perennial Phase on January 15(vinyl/digital), you can stream the first single “Violent Light” ar BrooklynVegan magazine and below.
