THE FRONT BOTTOMS have shared a new track, “Get Numb,” which is available now on their official Bandcamp page and below. “Get Numb” is available as a name-your-own-price download along with a limited edition t-shirt. Over the next two weeks, all proceeds after costs from the download and exclusive shirt will be donated to Make The Road New Jersey, an organization building the power of immigrant and working class communities in New Jersey to achieve dignity and justice through community organizing, legal and support services, transformative education and policy innovation.

The band commented:

It’s hard to be a musician today and ignore everything that is going on. “Get Numb” was born from that frustration. We’re partnering with Make the Road New Jersey to help as much as we can. Make The Road New Jersey are helping make it possible for those who are often left out of the process to have a stronger, more unified voice and be part of the decision making process.

Donate what you can or order a shirt – proceeds after costs from this exclusive shirt and downloads over the next two weeks are going to Make The Road New Jersey, powered by RPM. By supporting them, we are investing in an organization that is responding to issues related to immigrants and working class communities.

Later this week, THE FRONT BOTTOMS will take the stage at Manchester, Tennessee’s Bonnaroo Music + Arts Festival.  Their performance is scheduled for June 10th at 2:45PM on the What Stage. For news and more information please visit thefrontbottoms.com.

Lyrics:

Now is not the time to GET NUMB even though you want to be
only thing to do is show love to every single refugee
I’ve done drugs in the past
burn so good gone too fast
but now is not the time to GET NUMB even though you want to be

When you go somewhere new
It’s hard to see the bad
When you meet someone new
It’s hard to see the sad

(I’m gonna say the same words, maybe it will sink in)

Wave of hate
Give and take
Realize
Way too late
