OBITUARY will headline this year’s “Carnival Of Death” with support coming from reunited BROKEN HOPE, DECREPIT BIRTH, ENCRUST (ex-HUNTERS) and JUNGLE ROT.

Today legendary Florida death metal tyrants OBITUARY announce their long-awaited North American headlining tour. Brought to you by Rock The Nation and sponsored by Fender, the near month-long Carnival Of Death Tour 2012 will run through September and include additional audio demolition from Broken Hope, Decrepit Birth, Jungle Rot and Encrust!

All- American metal quartet, JUNGLE ROT will be joining legendary death metal band OBITUARY on the month long CARNIVAL OF DEATH TOUR. The tour will span across 20 cities beginning September 8 in Orlando with additional support for the tour from BROKEN HOPE, DECREPIT BIRTH and ENCRUST. Dave Matrise (vocalist/guitarist) is excited to take a break from his second passion (bear hunting) and embark on this killer tour.
Wisconsin-based JUNGLE ROT have been delivering old school infectious death metal for the past 18 years. Focusing on flowing grooves and quality songwriting, the band has obtained a strong and dedicated fan base. The band previously filmed a music video in Chicago for “BLOODTIES” from their 2011 Victory Records debut Kill on Command.
JUNGLE ROT have previously toured with death metal giants DEICIDE, SIX FEET UNDER and CATTLE DECAPITATION, which shows they are no strangers to playing in front of die hard death metal fans. These metal veterans look to their experience and skills, while climbing the ladder to their well deserved spot in the metal community. JUNGLE ROT is ready to prove that they’re louder, heavier and more brutal than ever.
