Blending raw energy, aggressive charm, and a distinctively defiant female vocal, Greek power punk rock trio Frenzee is back, premiering their latest video for the no-holds-barred punk track “Infection.”
Frenzee’s sound is refreshingly direct; it’s punk that’s unapologetically in-your-face with an audacious feminine twist in the vocals that’s hard to ignore. This isn’t your garden-variety punk rock – it’s a punch to the senses.
Though they’re currently crafting their first album, Frenzee isn’t new to the scene. Their self-titled debut EP from last year, released under Ouga Booga and the Mighty Oug Records—a label spearheaded by Greek stoner-rock trailblazers 1000mods—has already received heaps of critical praise.
Born in Melbourne, Australia but rooted in the island of Crete, Greece, Frenzee’s vibrant DNA is made up of Apollonia, Adonis, and Nick.
Their rich musical pedigree is evident, drawing inspiration from a potpourri of iconic bands and artists that range from AC/DC and Nirvana to Rage Against The Machine, Prodigy, Motörhead, Fugazi, Dinosaur Jr, Green Day, and Annihilation Time, to name a few.
