‘Santa Claus Is Coming To Town’ by TSUNAMI BOMB just received a new music video and you can watch it above. The track is featured on “Punk Rock Christmas 2”, the holiday compilation, out now on Cleopatra Records. Check it out below.
“Santa Claus Is Coming To Town’ was originally written by John Frederick Coots and Haven Gillespie.
The band commented:
The end of the decade is at last upon us!
I think I can speak for all us that none of us would have predicted back in 2010, that we would end 2019 back in Tsunami Bomb, but here we all are. We couldn’t be more grateful. Thank you all for your support, your care, and your help in making this band not only continue but thrive! The reception of our new album, “The Spine That Binds” was so far beyond what our wildest hopes were. Thank you. So much.
As part of our gratitude to all of you in the Bomb Squad, we are going to provide the coupon code “TSUNAMIBOMBSQUAD” to anyone looking to still obtain a limited-edition turquoise vinyl edition of the LP while supplies last. As you all may recall, the turquoise vinyl was available for pre-orders and now are limited to live shows only. However, since we don’t play THAT often, we want to make it available to those of you on the mailing list and in the squad (and anyone you want to hook up with that secret coupon code). So be sure to enter “TSUNAMIBOMBSQUAD” at checkout when you order through alternativetentacles.com to get a copy of our live show exclusive vinyl color (if you don’t, they will just send a regular black vinyl edition).
We hope you enjoy Andy’s music video for “Santa Claus Is Coming To Town”! He filmed it mostly backstage at the Alternative Tentacle Fest in Berkeley back in November. It’s fun! Thank you to all the bands who were a part of it.
Tickets are on sale now for all January’s dates with Death By Stereo. Please email us at [email protected] if you would like to help promote the show in exchange for passes to the show. We will send you printable flyers to put up and we’ll get you on the list. Tattoo Club members should reach out to us for passes at the same email, sooner rather than later if you want to get in the show!
2019 was pretty insane. Some great shows, fantastic festivals, a new album, and two holiday compilations. Let’s see if we can make 2020 even better.
Happy Holidays, Bombers. See you next year!
