Sludge / post metal act Nür teasing new LP on Suicide Records

August 26, 2021
1 min read

“Negative Transfer” by Haifa band Nür (featured in our Haifa scene report HERE) follows-up their first EP “Light Emerges” from 2019 and shows a remarkable progression, with Nür showing an enthralling cross between post-metal and heavy sludge.

“In the midst of chaos, there is also opportunity”

Wrote Sun-Tzu. A thought that can easily be applied to Haifa-based post-metal collective Nür, who amidst all the chaos running over their region still managed to write and record a new EP titled “Negative Transfer”.

Fueled by the experiences of their everyday life, Nür have channeled all their feelings and frustrations into this 3-track EP, resulting in an emotional cathartic and intense effort replete with dense and heavy riffs, and anguished vocals.
