Highly acclaimed by the likes of Rolling Stone UK and The Guardian as the vanguards of the new wave in post-hardcore, Leeds-based Static Dress has just released their latest track “Di–sinTer” (Glitter Redux). The track is part of their deluxe album, Rouge Carpet Disaster (Redux), which is set to make waves globally on September 15th.
Along with the single’s release on all major streaming platforms, an official music video, directed and edited by the band’s frontman Olli Appleyard, is now available for viewing.
Static Dress’s Rouge Carpet Disaster (Redux) is up for pre-order. The deluxe edition breathes new life into their debut, featuring revamped artwork and four redone singles. Among them are “Di-sinTer” (Glitter Redux), “Courtney, just relax” [ft. World Of Pleasure], and “Attempt 8” [ft. Sophie Meiers].
Fans can expect a special treat as the album will be available in several vinyl variants, each accompanied by an extra 7” vinyl containing the redux tracks.
The band’s signing to Roadrunner Records earlier this summer brought to light details about Rouge Carpet Disaster (Redux). Initially self-released, Rouge Carpet Disaster stands as a monumental achievement for Static Dress, featuring their groundbreaking sound which seamlessly blends genres ranging from emo, screamo, and metal to pop and electronic.
Produced by Erik Bickerstaffe of Loathe, the album serves as a testament to the band’s unparalleled creativity in the rock arena.
