“Content wise, this could be one of the best issues of Stencil Mag we’ve ever done. There’s a lot of in depth interviews to read, from Shinedown, Letlive, Thrice, Real Friends, Goo Goo Dolls, and I think that once you read them, then you’ll find yourself fully updated with where the bands are right now, whilst maybe learning something that you might not of already known just yet…
Our main feature comes from Saosin, as we join Anthony Green to find out how he ended up re-joining the band after a decade long break. It’s insane to have have the original line-up back with a full album, so make sure you get involved with this fantastic feature as we find out all about ‘Along The Shadow’ as well as what else we can expect from this epic reunion in 2016!
If you play video games, and you don’t know who Troy Baker is, then you should most certainly check out our feature by him (read it if you know him as well!). He tells us what it has been like to work on HUGE games such as The Last Of Us, Uncharted 4, Bioshock Infinite, Batman: Arkham City, and MANY more! We also catch up with Petri Alanko who discusses what it has been like to work on the Quantum Break soundtrack, and the artist John Royle to find out about his time as an artists with Marvel & DC Comics.
To add to all of this, we are finally heading into the prime of the summer festival season! So don’t make sure you miss out on our Download Festival preview, as our team go over some of the acts that they think you shouldn’t miss out on at this year’s event! So, enjoy the sunshine (hopefully we’ll have a summer longer than two weeks this year…) and we’ll see you in July to talk about more awesome alternative talent, bands, tours & festivals!”
