Toronto’s THE ARTIST LIFE have decided to call it quits.
The band will be playing their final show at Sneaky Dee’s in Toronto March 31st, 2012.
Here’s the official announcement:
It’s a New Year. A new year full of resolutions, new stories to create and most of all, a fresh new beginning. With that being said, we wish this was one if those moments we tell you all something new and exciting. Unfortunately, this being ‘new’ it my not be that exciting to most.
It’s been an amazing 5 years. But today is the day The Artist Life will be laid to rest. Thank you all so much for the support over the years and for believing in this band.
To our good friend Katie Clark, thank you for standing on the front line with us as we suited up to fight the good fight. Through thick and thin, you have always been the fifth member of TAL.
There are so many of you responsible for making The Artist Life one of our biggest dreams come true. As you read this remember YOU were just as much a member of this as we were and for that, we are forever grateful.
Thank You to Mark Spicoluk & Dan Hand at Underground Operations / Universal Music for giving us an outlet to reach the entire country. And to Colin Lewis at The Agency Group & Adam Kreeft at Kreeft Booking. We all did our best to build a small empire.
