THE BURIAL has parted ways with their bass player Jake Neece, who has issued the following statement:
For those who have heard or haven’t yet, I have resigned my position in The Burial. It wasn’t an easy decision to make, and immediate circumstances have brought this on sooner than I thought and i just cant do the touring right now. The Burial has been something I’ve given 7 years of my life to and I’m grateful to have been a part of it. The guys are still some of my closest friends and I thank them and anyone who has supported us for everything. In the mean time, I will be getting married soon and also finishing college. While I can’t tour at the moment, I don’t plan on being done with music all together. Keep an eye out! Again, thanks to anyone who has seen me play with the band, bought albums, hung out with me after shows, and thank you to The Burial for the last 7 years of my life.
The band added:
Who wants to play bass for us? Jake has decided to step down from the band, and we wish him the best. We are a ministry based band and tour, so if those things are not on your agenda, then this is not the job for you. Email us at [email protected] and tell us what you are about and we can get you some tabs. Please repost this and spread the word so we can make this transition as quick as possible. Thank you all.
