THE CANYON OBSERVER stream their new EP

October 29, 2012
1 min read

Kapa Records‘ THE CANYON OBSERVER are streaming their brand new EP titled “Chapter II: These Binds Will Set You Free”.

Here’s the official word from the label:

Chapter II by the quintet from Ljubljana presents four new compositions. These are richer and less foreseen than the ones on the debut Chapter I. TCO are staying faithful to their blend of sludge and doom with some post-rock origins. Rhythms are a bit more complex and atmospheric, sonic journeys are supplemented by the newest axe man in the band – Miloš, who you might have heard with heavy bands like Elodea and Entreat. Chapter II was recorded by one of the most active sound engineers in Prekmurje – Plueg – and mastered by Giuseppe Zaccaria at Locomotore Studios in Rome.
Even though The Canyon Observer only started playing in 2011, they have shared the stage with bands like Rosetta, Russian Circles and God Is An Astronaut, and toured Serbia, Croatia, Macedonia, Bulgaria, Austria, Slovakia, The Czech Republic and Hungary. In November the band will be on the road again – this time in Austria and Germany.
