Produced and recorded by Andy Gerber at Million Yen Studios in Chicago, The Emerald City has fourteen bold tunes that keep the Irish Spirit alive. The banjo is back in full swing along with the tin whistle and fiddle which can be heard in songs “The Break of Dawn”, “Where the Beer & Whiskey Flow” and “Here’s to a Drink With You”. The album is a patriotic homage to THE TOSSERS’ home country as well as the South Side of Chicago in the songs “The Emerald City”, “The South Side of Town” and “USA” in which vocalist Tony Duggins sings about family, heritage and drunken times with friends while emphasizing the importance of enjoying life to its fullest. “St. Patrick’s Day” is another notable track because what would a new album be without a new St. Patrick’s Day anthem?
