Maciej Karbowski of TFN commented:
Over the past few weeks there hasn’t been too many signs of life from us. Our break was due to being focused on something new we wanted to present to people. ‘Hollow Lights’ is the first new material we have made available since ‘Earthshine’. Recording again was great, it felt good it was a joy to be creating something again, I think that shows in the track. I can’t say for sure what the next album will sound like, I hope though it ends up sounding as good as ‘Hollow Lights’.
