Since late 2018, INRETROSPECT have grounded their footing in the music scene, playing shows throughout the UK. Releasing a small collective of singles from 2020 to date has earned the band radio play from BBC Introducing, Amazing Radio, Distortion Radio, ARFM, Kerrang Radio and more, and gained the band DSP playlisting with Spotify, Amazon Music, Deezer, Pandora and Apple music, surpassing 100,000+ streams on Spotify alone. The band releases their next single ‘My Last Breath’ on 23rd July 2021 across all DSP’s, and today we’re stoked to give you an early listen, along with the band’s special list of top bands worth a check in 2021!
The new track is accompanied by a visualiser and showcases the band at their very darkest, both sonically and lyrically. The band have already had support from the likes of Heavy Mag, GigRadar and more, and have a busy tour schedule upcoming with bands such as Spoiler, Tyrants and Majin.

This is a band coming straight out of Liverpool and one of the most exciting bands from the UK. It’s great to see local music getting the recognition it deserves.

TCIO are on constant rotation at the InRetrospect camp and they’re latest singles leading up to their album are incredible.

If there’s a band that brings the heavy. It’s FStS, these guys are absolutely killing it.
Lastelle
Lastelle have such an emotionally involved and driven sound that is so unique amongst the UK metal scene right now. Truly captivating.
Silent Planet
Taking a moment to look outside of the UK, Silent Planet are one of the best bands out there speaking about important issues and blending it with incredible grooves and clean sections.
As Everything Unfolds
A incredible example of perfectly blended melodic post-hardcore emerging from the UK. Their most recent album “Within Each Lies The Other” is one of Nathan’s favourite albums of the year.
Borders
Their debut album was absolutely blistering from back to front and has been on repeat since dropping it! We can’t wait for more from them and to hopefully see them on the road in the future!
Spiritbox
This band have cemented their place within all of our playlists. Since they released “Rule Of Nines” they have grown from strength to strength becoming one of the most exciting bands in metalcore right now.
Sleep Token
Since releasing their debut album in 2019 (“Sundowning”), Sleep Token have remained on heavy rotation since we first heard them. Everything about this band is incredible and captivating.
