New Hampshire’s darkest export, blackened doom alchemists VATTNET VISKAR, are now in conspiracy with esteemed metal web portal Invisible Oranges to offer up another taste of their upcoming self-titled EP (out March 15 on Broken Limbs Recordings).
According to the site, “If Robert Frost had been born about 100 years later and was into metal, this would be his favorite band.” High praise indeed! Listen to “Barren Earth” here.
The band are currently on the road in support of their vinyl debut, winding their way down the East Coast, playing with the likes of WOE, TOMB & THIRST, and more, rampaging through the Southeast, then looping back up to wrap things up with al album release show at NYC’s Lit Lounge on March 19th. The record officially drops on March 15, 2012, and is graced with ethereal cover art and layout for the release was conjured up by San Francisco artist Bryan Proteau whose gorgeous creations have graced the likes of DEAFHEAVEN, PALLBEARER, ATRIARCH, LYCUS, OBOLUS, and more. The album was recorded and mastered by Brett Boland (HETFIELD & HETFIELD).
