WREATH OF TONGUES returns with a brutal new single, the second taste of their upcoming LP, WOT.
With the first single clocking in at just 43 seconds, it was a concentrated hit of raw aggression, delivering exactly what fans of hardcore infused grindcore (or grindcore infused hardcore?) and death metal would expect from a New York-based band. It was quick, relentless, and packed with brutality, backed by sharp, unfiltered lyrics.
“Born to be Buried” marks the opening track of the new album. Clocking in at just 1 minute and 29 seconds, this song is a whirlwind of brutal metal infused with elements of grindcore and powerviolence. It’s a relentless surge of energy where a lot happens in a short span.
It kicks off with a fast, brutal metallic onslaught—a frenetic chase that blends grinding riffs with blistering tempos.
Midway, it transitions into a segment that’s a true test for even the quickest two-steppers, ramping up the intensity and complexity. The second half is a gym session for those who can keep up with the rapid shifts and aggressive beats.
The full album promises 12 tracks of relentless chaos, fusing punk, hardcore, and grindcore elements into an unfiltered assault on the senses.
