Eulogy Records’ signees FULL SCALE RIOT streaming new track

1 min read

NYC area-based hardcore quartet FULL SCALE RIOT‘s debut album, empower – featuring an all-star cast of guests including Ben Harper, Chris Rivers, Marc Rizzo, Jimmy Gestapo, and more — is scheduled for late November release through Eulogy Recordings. Revolver Magazine is now exclusively streaming the album’s opening track, “Hold You To The Fire,” as preorders for the record and more are unveiled. You can stream it below. Eulogy Recordings will releaseempower on CD and digital formats on Black Friday, November 25th, the band to self-release a vinyl version later.

Offers FULL SCALE RIOT vocalist BJ Allen alongside the first single from empower, “‘Hold You To The Fire’ is a song about betrayal and retribution. The core theme is holding your friends/enemies accountable for their actions.” The track also features a guest vocal performance by Tsarina Romanoff.

With members of M.O.D., Rhythm Trip, Shat, and more, FULL SCALE RIOT follows up their Depopulation EP with the politically-motivate empower, delivering nearly a half-hour of their volatile punk/thrash-fueled hardcore. The album was recorded to 2″ tape at Trax East Recording Studio (Misfits, Turmoil, Hatebreed), engineered and co-produced by Eric Rachel with engineering assistance from Eric Kovortec, and shows massive new strengths in their songwriting and delivery. Void of senseless violence, the band perpetuates a very even-keeled and intellectual batch of socio-politically-fueled tracks, the music wrought with angst and the lyrics focusing on a more forward-thinking society. The album also features a widespread network of guests, including vocalists Jimmy Gestapo (Murphy’s Law), Tsarina Romanoff, and rapper Chris Rivers (son of the late great rapper Big Pun), and guitars by Marc Rizzo (Soulfly, Misfits) and and blues/rock/reggae/soul singer/multi-instrumentalist and activist Ben Harper.

FULL SCALE RIOT will support LEEWAY in Atlantic City this Saturday, October 22nd, and has booked a release show for empower in Secaucus on November 26th, with more widespread regional tour dates to be confirmed through the coming months.
