Milwaukee power pop punk rockers HONEY CREEK have premiered their new single today, touching on the subject of touring, a bitter-sweet, unique experience that begs a compromise, but comes as is the coolest thing for thousands of kids out there.
“It’s about sacrifice in the pursuit of a passion; for us, music.” – comments the band. “As a touring band, we typically spend more than a few good chunks of the year not at home. Pursuing a passion can lead to stress on any aspect of our lives, be it professional, personal, or anything in between. “Midwest Summer” takes that reality and accepts it, acknowledging: “that’s the price we pay to be here”.
