I am greatly honored to give you an exclusive premiere of the newest effort from Szczecin, Poland’s THE THRONE, featured on IDIOTEQ last year, now ready to melt your brains with a solid mixture of harsh stoner sludge! Having created a really impressive slow-burning, yet very dynamic sludge trip, THE THRONE managed to make their debut LP an incredibly endearing listen. “Singularity” is a much grittier and darker album than our debut EP – “fig.2”. “Singularity” is also a culmination of a bumpy road we had. These 10 songs, recorded by Marcin Rybicki at Left Hand Sounds in Poznań during the second half of 2014, were crafted over 5 years after releasing “fig.2” in 2010. During this time from various reasons – such as not having any rehearsal space, band members coming and leaving – the band faded into the background. Everything changed in 2014 when the final squad has been established and we played some really good, well received shows. Right know we are focusing on touring as much as we can and finishing our newest record, which should be out till Autumn 2015. Until then you can see us on dates shown below, where we are going to have physical copies of “Singularity”, released DIY.
