A389 Recordings has issued an update on several amazing bands on October 10th, 2012. Check out the official word below and find out what’s going on in their roster.
NOTHING are getting ready to kick off a north-east run with NIGHT SINS. These shows are sure to get everyone ready for the upcoming release of their anticipated ‘Downward Years To Come’ 12″. Preorders start on 10/31 and the record will be available everywhere on Black Friday.
MARYLAND DEATH FEST has announced their lineup for 2013 and all we can say is whooooaaah…..INFEST?! Alongside VENOM, BOLT THROWER, MAGRUDERGRIND, MIDNIGHT and A389′s own INTEGRITY, LIKE RATS, WEEKEND NACHOS, FULL OF HELL, EDDIE BROCK and ILSA!!!! Umm..yeah see you there.
Speaking of ILSA their much anticipated ‘Intoxicantations’ LP is currently at the plant and will also see a 10/31 preorder / standard release on Black Friday. Recorded/mastered by the Bernsten/Plotkin dream team, the record features a sick gatefold cover and poster insert. Get ready for one of the gnarliest records you’re gonna hear this year!!! They’re playing some great shows including PIG DESTROYER’s record release party. Go to our shows page for details.
PICK YOUR SIDE are in Europe!!! They have a new 7″ on RSR called ‘Snakes And Ladders’ and we’ll be getting copies very soon. The band has a ton of stuff coming out on various labels including a split on DEEP SIX RECORDS. Look for them to return to the studio in 2013 for their second LP for A389. There is an awesome video of them playing live on air on 89.5FM ‘Equalizing Distort’ which you can watch here:
FULL OF HELL are wrapping up some European dates with Poland’s CALM THE FIRE before coming home and heading out to do a full US Tour with GAZA and CODE ORANGE KIDS. ‘Roots Of Earth Are Consuming My Home’ has been pressed on two new colors: ‘Winter’ and ‘Red’. Winter is AVAILABLE IN OUR WEBSTORE NOW while Red will be available exclusively through stores/distros only via COBRASIDE. The band has also booked time to record their second LP at Developing Nations…more on that soon. Sooner than you think.

EYEHATEGOD have announced an Australian tour for November!! ‘New Orleans Is The New Vietnam’ first pressing sold out in the blink of an eye and is BACK IN STOCK NOW on three new colors!!! Purple for A389 Webstore / Green Camo for the band / Halloween Black+Orange split for stores/distros.
GEHENNA will be entering DEVELOPING NATIONS in January to record their long awaited follow up to the now classic ‘Upon The Gravehill’ LP. This will be their first full length in ten years. The band will also be re-releasing their out of print classic ‘Negotium Perambulans In Tenebris’ album on A389 completely remastered and with bonus tracks. Look for tour dates to surface soon.
LEFT FOR DEAD discography is being wrapped in mastering by James Plotkin and sounds absolutely crushing. Look for the LP/CD/Digital to make it’s debut at the A839 bash. We may or may not have leaked a song onto our bandcamp page…
WEEKEND NACHOS are in the studio wrapping up what will be their new ‘Watch You Suffer’ 7″ also due on A839 in January. Any similarities to the Metallica ‘Black’ album have been denied by John Caution.
SEVEN SISTERS OF SLEEP are putting together the artwork for their second LP ‘Opium Morals’ which will be released early 2013 on A389. We’ve been sitting on the tracks for a while just letting them soak in, you’re all screwed. This record is a monster.
INTEGRITY are playing a handful of dates in Cleveland/Boston/Connecticut before returning this way next year for the A389 Bash, Maryland Death Fest and Chaos In Tejas! We will have a new pressing of ‘Walpurgisnacht’ on new colors with GREEN CHARLIE available any day now!!!
HOMEWRECKER are off their hiatus and are playing shows again!!! The band also recently shot a video at their recent show with CYNARAE
Speaking of CYNARAE, the band is wrapping up their east coast and will be back for the sold out A389 IX ANNIVERSARY BASH in January. Also their split 12″ with ANCIENT SHORES will be coming out sometime next year
SHIN TO SHIN 12″ will be wrapped up this weekend at DEVELOPING NATIONS with Kevin Bernsten on the board and me with a shoehorn trying to cram as many A2 solos into the record as humanly possible.
