France’s melodic hardcore outfit STINKY is back, and their new album Solace. Known for blending hardcore intensity with melodic and pop-punk elements, STINKY continues to evolve their sound, introducing formidable breakdowns and anthemic choruses.

The North American release of Solace drops on February 1, 2025, with vinyl and CD pre-orders already live.

Andrew Neufeld of COMEBACK KID lends his voice to the track “Under Care,” bringing raw energy to the song’s mix of ropy verses and a soaring melodic chorus. Pairing with the band’s lazy, drawn-out, signature vibe where the vocals suddenly shift from full-on yelling to actual singing, the song is a nice treat for fans of melodic hardcore.

The Neufeld collab strikes a balance between melody and aggression, weaving in dual-vocal dynamics that feel both urgent and expansive. The verses carry an intense drive, while the chorus opens up with a melodic clarity that hints at the band’s knack for crafting hardcore anthems.

STINKY, hailing from Nantes, has built a reputation for their seamless blend of melodic hardcore and punk influences, earning them a dedicated following.
