ANGEL DU$T announce new album “BRAND NEW SOUL” – new single and video “Space Jam” available

2 mins read

Punk rockers band Angel Du$t, led by Justice Tripp, have announced their new album, “BRAND NEW SOUL“, which is set to release on September 8th via Pop Wig Records. A unique blend of rock & roll swagger, hardcore ferocity, and innovative production, the album taps into every era of the band’s catalog since their formation in 2013.

A single from the album, “Space Jam,” a 99-second blast of melody and aggression, has been released. Alongside the album announcement, the band has teamed up with Stereogum for an in-depth profile discussing the album and Tripp’s influence on the world of hardcore.

The new album signifies a new chapter for Angel Du$t, demonstrating Tripp’s vision with greater clarity than before. For nearly two decades, Tripp has consistently been ahead of the curve, leading the way for a new wave of heavy hardcore and then masterminding the shift into unabashedly catchy territory with Angel Du$t.

A worldwide tour has also been announced, with the band performing first in the UK and then rounding out the year with a long series of North American shows. The tour will feature supporting acts like Candy, Bib, Restraining Order, Mary Jane Dunphe, Steve Marino, among others.

“BRAND NEW SOUL” pays a fearless and open-hearted tribute to rock music, inviting listeners to join Angel Du$t on the cutting edge. Tripp may be always looking ahead, but it seems that Angel Du$t’s time is now.

Justice Tripp has been a musical pioneer for nearly two decades. Initially with Trapped Under Ice, he heralded a new wave of heavy hardcore, then with Angel Du$t, he introduced a generation of musicians to melodic and aggressive sounds. Now, with “BRAND NEW SOUL”, Tripp continues to defy expectations and craft music that resonates with listeners.
