Leesburg, Virginia-based band MY KID BROTHER, who have been praised and featured by Billboard, Alternative Press, American Songwriter, and their hometown paper The Loudoun Times-Mirror, are back with a brand new song. Today, the band has shared the sonically delightful new track “Make You Make Believe.” Listen below. The song is a dreamy, alt-pop opus with a bit of retro vibe.
“‘Make You Make Believe’ is written about finding myself chasing things I’m unfamiliar with,” says vocalist/guitarist Christian Neonakis. “It’s about stepping out of my comfort zone for temporary satisfaction. Lately, I’ve realized I find comfort in the unknown. This song expresses how addicting that feeling can become.”
The band dropped their self-titled debut EP via Fearless Records in Fall 2020.
