BLOOM has dropped their latest single, “The Works of You,” through Pure Noise Records. The band describes the track as a different kind of love song, focusing on the lasting impact love can have even after someone is no longer in your life.

BLOOM likens this kind of love to art, noting how it can take on many forms and leave a permanent mark, much like a gallery that holds memories. The song itself mirrors these emotions with its blend of sharp, aggressive tones and sweeping symphonic highs.

The band recorded “The Works of You” while on tour earlier this year, taking every opportunity to refine it. They worked with long-time producer Christopher Vernon, who has been instrumental in shaping their sound.

BLOOM believes the song captures the essence of what they’ve become known for: their unique mix of melodic metalcore with deeply emotional songwriting.

Since their formation in 2017, BLOOM has consistently put out music that explores heavy themes, ranging from the pain of broken relationships to the grief of losing a loved one. Their ability to channel these emotions into their sound, with powerful hooks and heartfelt choruses, sets them apart.

Despite the challenges, including releasing their EP In Passing during the pandemic and completing a 19-date Australian tour in 2021, BLOOM has continued to push forward, even writing and recording remotely with producer Christopher Vernon during lockdown.
