Wow, it’s been some time now since IDIOTEQ posted about an alternative rock / indie / math rock band. These guys “set out to make complex music sound easy, to engage with a broad group of listeners, and continue to combine evocative, mercurial arrangements with soulful lyricism.”. Well, this official release is nothing but true and correct. With plans to release their new EP on October 28 via Fortnight Music, BASS LIONS are streaming a handful of new tracks, giving you a nice idea of what’s to come. The new EP “Bass Lions” will be pressed to limited edition 12″ vinyl, and will include a remastered version of the band’s debut record ‘More Than Islands” as its B side (which was one two releases we did with Nevado Records (Royal Canoe, Yukon Blonde)).
