After six years of silence, Belgian ethereal post-pop/post-rock/shoegaze quartet CECILIA::EYES is finally back to business with a fourth studio album called “Sore Memories Always End” and to be released on CD, LP & Digital on December 3rd through Dunk!records (Pelican, Russian Circles, We Lost The Sea, etc.).
The band just unveiled a first audio glance from this upcoming record with the single “Missing Pieces” available right now on Bandcamp and the main streaming platforms.
CECILIA::EYES defines itself as a band practicing a subtle mix of slow and noisy melodies. Since the release of the 3rd album “DISAPPEARANCE” in 2014, and a series of gigs in Belgium and abroad, the band isolated itself from the scene for a long period to write a fourth opus.
“SORE MEMORIES ALWAYS END” concretizes the band’s will to opt for lyrics and vocal harmonies on a majority of tracks.
