BLACK FLAG, with the “Jealous Again” lineup, are going to reunite for at least one performance at this year’s Hevy Fest, which is set to take place August 2-4 in Port Lympne Wild Animal Park in Kent.

The organizers of Hevy Fest write:

They have undoubtedly had the greatest impact on DIY record distribution, underground touring and hardcore music of any band, before or since. There is a whole generation of musicians and fans that would cite Black Flag as being the most important band to have influenced them, without ever even having the chance to see them perform live, until now.

The Hevy Fest appearance will mark BLACK FLAG‘s first show in the UK since 1983, and will mark their only live performance there this year. They currently don’t have any more shows scheduled nor do they have plans to make a new album, which would have been their first since 1985’s “In My Head” and their first full-length without Henry Rollins, who was the band’s singer from 1981 to their first split in 1986.
