Brian Baker says MINOR THREAT will never reunite

1 min read

After posting headline news about a BLACK FLAG reunion, which they announced last Friday, MINOR THREAT guitarist Brian Baker (who is now in BAD RELIGION) told Ultimate-Guitar.com that the hardcore punk legends will never reunite.

He explains:

That would ruin it I think. Minor Threat was a product of its time and we aren’t minors anymore and we certainly aren’t threatening. I just think to destroy the myth wouldn’t serve anybody. Minor Threat wasn’t very popular until years after we broke up so I just don’t see any reason to tarnish the idea that people have developed over the years about a band they never saw.

MINOR THREAT called it quits in 1983, shortly after the release of their only full-length studio album “Out of Step“, and since then, all the members have been making music individually.
