Canadian power punk rockers RIVERSIDE DRIVE premiere new single “Whatever It Takes”

1 min read

Windsor, Ontario based emotive pop punk infused rockers Riverside Drive are joining us today for a special premiere of their new single “Whatever It Takes”. This highly anticipated release is the band’s first since last year’s “Better Days,” and it delivers an exciting new blend of melodic punk rock with some post hardcore influenced screamy parts and power rock chords that will get you moving instantly.

Whatever It Takes” has pushed them out of their comfort zone and challenged them to experiment with new elements they never would have tried before, such as screaming vocals. This song represents a significant milestone in the band’s evolution and growth, showcasing their musical maturity and artistic development over the past year.

“‘Whatever It Takes’ really pushed us out of our comfort zone.” – comments the band. “There are a lot of elements in the song that we never would’ve tried a year ago — the screaming vocals, for example. There was a time where we thought that kind of thing was entirely off the table, so this song really stands out as an indicator of our growth as a band and as musicians. We can’t wait for people to hear something that they’ve never heard from us before”
