Chicago’s BEKIND unveil “Truth Abuser”, an insane brutal metallic hardcore teaser of “The Worst of Everything”

1 min read

“The Worst of Everything”, the newest EP from Chicago based devastating hardcore / grindcore / metal hybrid BEKIND is one of those massive, behemoth releases that inspire debates about whether they are a more of a hardcore or a metal band, but with this brutal assault it seems that the band is exploring a new side of an already adventurous blend of genres.

Today we’re thrilled to give you the first taste of the EP, a slowly crawling, eerie, sludge roller called “Truth Abuser”.

BEKIND features members of Meth. and Adrian Kobziar, who has been producting and record records in the Chicago area for several years.

“We went into this project with zero expectations and no idea of what would come out the other side. We didn’t force a particular sound, we simply wanted to see what would form naturally.” – comments the band.

“Adrian and I were both coming out of a very hard period in our lives, but were feeling hopeful about the future, which I think the EP captures quite clearly. We channeled our collective anger, frustration, and hopefulness into these songs and somehow it all clicked, seemingly intentional.”

“The Worst of Everything” comes out October 16th.
