Cincinnati indie punk rockers ARLEN GUN CLUB premiere new EP “Too Easy”

1 min read

Slated for an independent, DIY self-release this coming Friday, “Too Easy” by Ohio based ARLEN GUN CLUB comes as an energetic and melodious display of indie punk rock delivered by a young and still growing band. Fueled by grunge infused rock vigour and flavored with a pinch of nostalgia, the EP offers an optimistic soundtrack to pandemic-related anxiety and other everyday fears of of the youth. Today, we’re giving it the first full spin, along with the band’s brief commentary below.

Comments the band: “This EP is our first professionally produced record and it took a lot of hard work, so seeing how we’re all a bunch of jokesters, we decided to call it ‘Too Easy’, a sort of catchphrase coined by our bassist, Jacob. This record at its core is just about being bored and frustrated and scared about everything, and at the time of writing was not relevant to what we’re facing now in 2020, but seems even fitting now given the events that have occured since.”

“We want to shout out Gary Cioni and Sound Acres Studio for producing it and engineering it and our friend Sydney Sebastian for making the album art.” – adds the band.

Arlen Gun Club are: Kenton Stoppelwerth, Leo Martini, Jacob Durham, Ben Ryan.
