1 min read

Rome based one man instrumental post rock project SVEMIR may be a work of staggering complexity, but it’s surely an offering of immense beauty, remaining super enjoyable and channeling subtle moods, spatial melancholia, but also triggering vivid bursts of energy for a good measure. Composing atmospheric and cinematic songs featuring layers of delays and reverb, melting post-rock with a pinch of post-punk sound, SVEMIR is a fine act to follow.

Written and recorded by Marcello Ligi, with bass tracks recorded by Matteo Gobessi (Thousand Oaks), “Vagabond” marks the second release from SVEMIR and will be released on October 18th. Meanwhile, you can hear the first track called “Jelen” below!

Svemir is an instrumental DIY studio project from Rome, Italy. Started in 2020 with the first “self-titled” EP release, it was mainly conceived by Marcello Ligi, Suaire ex guitar player, with the collaboration of Thousand Oaks member Matteo Gobessi, Rome local hardcore scene band.
