COCK SPARRER’s final road “Hand In Heart”

1 min read

Cock Sparrer, the underground legends, the unsung heroes of punk who’ve been kicking it since ’72, are dropping their last ever studio album – “Hand On Heart” – set to shake the foundations on April 5th, 2024. Celebrating over half a century of pure, unadulterated punk spirit, these blokes are more than ready to go out with a bang!

“Hand on Heart” is a 10-track manifesto, a testament to the band’s undying spirit, complete with their signature anthems and a few surprises. Think punk, but with a classy twist – thanks to Simon Dobson’s string magic. James Bragg & Daryl Smith have been manning the decks, and with Kevin Tuffy’s Grammy-winning ears, this album’s set to be a cracker!

Pre-order HERE 👈

Pirates Press Records have teamed up with Cock Sparrer to make “Hand On Heart” available for pre-order on classic 12” 180 gram black vinyl, 12” 180 gram Milky Clear vinyl, 12” 180 gram Claret & Blue AsideBside vinyl in a deluxe gatefold sleeve, 12” picture disc with alternative artwork, digipak compact disc, and limited edition cassette!

Colin McFaull, Mick Beaufoy, Steve Burgess, Steve Bruce – the original gang, and their “newbie” Daryl Smith, have been tearing it up since the dawn of punk. More than just a band, they’re a brotherhood. Turned down the man McLaren himself over a pint, these fellas have been doing it their way, long before punk was a badge.

While punk’s flames flickered in the mainstream, Sparrer kept the fire burning. Touring with legends like Motörhead and Slade, they’ve been the relentless heart of the scene. Now, they’re living the dream in reverse – covering everything from Rancid to Against Me!, adored at festivals, but it’s in the clubs where they truly rule.
